Cancellation & Refund Policy

Please read our terms and cancellation charges carefully before booking.

Payment Schedule

To secure your booking with Rides & Treks (RIDESnTREKS LLP), the following payment schedule applies:

Milestone Amount Required Timeline
Initial Deposit 10% of total package cost Within 24 hours of provisional booking
Booking Amount 30% of total package cost Within 7 days of deposit
Final Balance 70% of total package cost At least 30 days prior to trip departure

Cancellation Charges

In the event of cancellation by a traveler, the following standard deductions will apply:

  • Cancellations made 30 or more days before departure: 20% of the total booking value will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of departure: 100% of the total booking value will be forfeited (no refund).
  • Payment Failure: If the 30% booking amount is not received within one month of reservation, the booking will automatically stand canceled.

Refund Terms

Please note that all refunds are processed under strict rules:

  • We hold a strict **no cash refund policy** for trip cancellations requested by the guest.
  • If a trip is canceled by Rides & Treks due to unforeseen operational blockages or natural disasters, a **credit note** of the equivalent amount will be issued, which can be redeemed for any of our future tours within 1 year.

International Bookings T&C

  • Passports and PAN cards are mandatory for booking international tours.
  • Cancellations between 60 to 31 days prior to departure will forfeit the initial deposit (booking amount).
  • Cancellations within 30 days of departure will forfeit 100% of the tour cost.
