Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrive in Manali. Transfer to your hotel. Meet your expedition leader, attend a briefing session, and complete permit checks. Overnight in Manali.
Early morning departure. Drive through Atal Tunnel, Lahaul Valley, Chatru, Batal, and cross Kunzum Pass (15,000 ft) to enter Spiti. Arrive in Kaza. Overnight in Kaza guesthouse.
Visit Key Monastery, the largest center of Buddhist learning in Spiti. Drive to Kibber and Chicham bridge (Asia's highest suspension bridge). Return to Kaza. Overnight.
Visit Hikkim (14,400 ft) and mail a postcard. Drive to Komic (world's highest village connected by motorable road) and Langza to see marine fossils. Return to Kaza. Overnight.
Drive to Tabo, home to the 1000-year-old Tabo Clay Monastery (Ajanta of Himalayas). Visit Dhankar Fort/Monastery overlooking the confluence of Spiti and Pin rivers. Overnight in Tabo/Kaza.
Drive towards Manali, stopping at Batal. Take the diversion to the pristine Chandratal Lake (Lake of the Moon). Camp at the designated campsite near the lake. Overnight in tents.
Drive from Chandratal back to Manali, crossing Kunzum and Rohtang. Arrive in Manali in the evening. Check in to hotel. Overnight in Manali.
Check out from hotel. Transfer to Manali Volvo stand or drive to Chandigarh for your departure.

- Carry a valid government ID (Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID) at all times. PAN Card is not accepted as proof of identity at army checkpoints.
- Climatic conditions at high elevations can change rapidly. Always follow instructions of the tour guide/expedition leader.
- Consumption of alcohol or drugs during active trekking or riding hours is strictly prohibited.
- Ensure you are adequately covered by adventure travel insurance.
